  • CISCO® EX60

By connecting your video systems to VEEDEEO you don't need to use any other intermediate equipments (gateways or gatekeepers): your systems connect directly to our cloud infrastructure and virtual meeting rooms, reducing complexity and infrastructure costs.

CLOUD CONFIGURATION SCENARIOS

H323 Registration in Global Directory RECOMMENDED

By registering in the VEEDEEO H323 Cloud Gatekeeper, your users will be able to connect to a VEEDEEO Cloud Video Room by dialing a simple video number (i.e. 700001) instead of a complete URI (i.e. 700001@veedeeo.net).

You will continue to be able to dial external video systems using IP and/or URI dialing.

In this scenario, you have direct access to the Global Video Directory and can easily make and receive free video calls between registered video systems by dialing their video numbers - just like using a regular phone.

One great advantage of having your systems registered in the VEEDEEO H323 Cloud is the possibility to use our innovative Cloud Video Room Console (CVRC) page. This page works like a web console linked to each of your video conferencing systems and can be accessed in your video meeting rooms i.e. through a small tablet.

From the CVRC page you are able to easily search video systems in the Global Directory, start video calls and join our virtual Cloud Video Rooms in one click. The Cloud Video Room Console is free to use and is part of our free Video Bridging and Global Video Directory services.

Simple SIP Registration

By registering your system at the VEEDEEO cloud in SIP, you will be able to place video calls to the VEEDEEO Cloud Video Rooms by using simply the video number (i.e. 700001) and not the complete URI (i.e.700001@veedeeo.net).

Advantages

  • Simplify call dialing for users
  • Access the Global Video Directory and do 1-to-1 SIP Video Bridging calls
  • No need to have on-prem gatekeepers or gateways to connect your systems externally

Disadvantages

No Cloud Registration

You can use your video conferencing systems together with the VEEDEEO Cloud without being registered. This scenario is mostly used when you don't have a VEEDEEO account but need to connect to a virtual meeting room in the cloud.

To connect your video system to a VEEDEEO Cloud Video Room, you only need to have external connectivity as described in this page.

Advantages

  • No need to change any configuration

Disadvantages

  • Dialing to a cloud virtual room must use URI dialing (i.e. 700001@veedeeo.net) which can be uncomfortable for some users, specially when using the systems's remote.
  • No access to the Global Video Directory and the 1-to-1 Video Bridging calls.
  • Unable to use the Cloud Video Room Console in your meeting rooms
