Network and Firewall Settings for the VEEDEEO Cloud Continue to Support Desk arrow_forward

Video Conferencing Systems (SIP / H323)

Requirements

To connect to the VEEDEEO cloud, your SIP / H323 video conferencing system must:

  • chevron_right have external connectivity to the VEEDEEO servers, according to the network settings described below
  • chevron_right have symmetric UDP enabled in your network (recommended)
  • chevron_right use the standard SIP or H323 protocols
  • chevron_right be able to do URI dialing (i.e. 700002@veedeeo.net)
  • chevron_right use the TCP or TLS Transport Protocols by default

Firewall and Network Settings

Make sure your video systems can connect externally to the VEEDEEO cloud, located at veedeeo.net / 23.251.132.153.
Consider the following firewall settings for your network:

1. For SIP Communications

Call Signaling

arrow_forward allow Inbound and Outbound trafic to 23.251.132.153, ports 5060 and 5061 TCP

Media Streaming

arrow_forward allow Inbound and Outbound trafic in ports 50000 to 60000 UDP (any IP)

Media Streaming

arrow_forward allow Outbound trafic to 23.251.132.153 in ports 30000 to 30500 UDP

arrow_forward allow Outbound trafic to any IP in ports 30000 to 30500 UDP

When registering your video systems at the VEEDEEO network (Cloud Video Gateway), you don't need to open any inbound ports - you just need to allow outbound traffic to any port, which is the default for most firewalls.

If you don't register your system or you don't use H.460.18, you will also need to open inbound traffic to the above ports.

When using H323, we strongly recomend that you register your system in the VEEDEEO Gatekeeper because the ports that will be used in the connection are vendor (equipment) specific and may vary.

Your browser needs to have network (Internet) access to:

arrow_forward *.veedeeo.me, TCP ports 80 and 443
arrow_forward veedeeo.firebaseio.com, TCP port 443
arrow_forward wss.veedeeo.net, TCP port 443

Media Streaming

arrow_forward turneu.veedeeo.net, TCP ports 80 and 443

If browser is unable to connect media via UDP it will try to connect using the standard TCP port 80 via our Turn servers (on turneu.veedeeo.net).
