Configuration Guide for Registration at the VEEDEEO Cloud Gatekeeper

Connect your Polycom® Group Series video systems to the Cloud Video Gateway and have borderless video meetings with external parties.

VEEDEEO enables you to easily connect your POLYCOM® video conferencing systems to the cloud and unleash the full potential of your video rooms to have simple point-to-point video calls or multipoint video meetings with anyone in the world.

By registering your video systems in the VEEDEEO cloud you don't need any other intermediate hardware or infrastructure to have internal and external video calls, reducing complexity and infrastructure costs.

This guide covers Polycom® Group Series video conferencing systems, models 310, 500 and 700.

General Settings

Please consider the following settings under Settings arrow_forward Administrator Settings arrow_forward Network

1 Set the Default Call Protocol > Call Preference > Enable SIP or H323
2 Set the Default Call Rates to 1920 Kbps > Call Preference > Preferred Speeds > For placing calls = 1920 / For receiving calls = 1920
3 Change Default Transport Protocol to TCP or TLS > IP Network > SIP Settings > Transport Protocol = TCP / TLS
4 Set Max.bandwidth > IP Network > Quality of Service > Max.Transmit Bandwidth = 1920 / Max.Receive Bandwidth = 1920

H323 Registration

Please consider the following settings under Settings arrow_forward Administrator Settings arrow_forward Network

4 Set H323 gatekeeper > IP Network > H323 Settings > Primary Gatekeeper = veedeeo.net or 23.251.132.153
5 Set H323 authentication > IP Network > H323 Settings > Authentication > Login Name = Video Number / Password = Registration PIN
6 Disable H460 firewall traversal > IP Network > H323 Settings > Enable H460 = false
